Cookie Policy
Last updated: November 8, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how this website uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time. This website uses a consent cookie and, only with your permission, optional analytics and marketing cookies.
2. Cookie Categories
When you first visit, a cookie banner asks you to choose which categories to allow:
2.1 Necessary (always on)
- Consent cookie (
cc_cookie). Stores your cookie preferences so the site remembers your choice. It lasts up to 182 days and is required for the banner to function.
2.2 Analytics (optional)
- If the Institute configures Google Analytics 4, these cookies help us understand aggregate visits and page usage. They load only if you accept the Analytics category.
2.3 Marketing (optional)
- If the Institute configures the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, it loads only if you accept the Marketing category, and supports ad measurement.
2.4 Platform analytics (optional)
- During checkout, the Hostinger platform may use Amplitude analytics to improve the store and checkout experience without directly identifying you. This loads only if you accept the Platform analytics category.
3. Managing Your Consent
You can change your cookie choices at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, which reopens the preferences panel. You may also clear cookies through your browser settings; doing so will reset your consent and the banner will appear again.
Toggles in the preferences panel start unticked by default — we do not pre-select optional categories.
4. Third-Party Cookies
External services linked from this site — such as the Carepatron scheduling platform and the telehealth partner — may set their own cookies when you visit them. Those are governed by the respective third parties’ cookie policies.
5. Do Not Track
This website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals in a standardized way. You can control optional cookies through the consent banner and your browser settings.
6. Changes to This Policy
If we add or change the cookies we use, we will update this policy and the “Last updated” date above.
7. Contact
Questions about cookies may be directed to practice@drtapekafennellfrancis.com.
